Wayne County Public Library issued the following announcement on Nov. 19. 

Our next middle school STEM Program is Tuesday November 23rd at 6:00PM! This series of programs will be working with students from Wayne Community College to bring exciting and engaging STEM programs for middle schoolers in Wayne County.

Attendees will learn and understand the basics of how a computer works and some basic troubleshooting for common problems, such as:

-how to fix the blue screen of death 

-computer won’t turn on or randomly restarts or shuts down

-parts of the computer are beeping or making strange noises 

-overheating

-many other common problems

This grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-250229-OLS-21).
