Wayne County Public Schools issued the following announcement on Sep 3. 

With starting pay at $14.19/hr, you’ll want to submit your online application and join our Transportation Team ASAP! We are looking for bus drivers who have excellent customer service skills and an impeccable driving record.

After completing your application, pre-register for our CDL/ School Bus class next month. Classes will be held at School Street Early Learning Center on September 20, 21, and 22 at 8:30 AM. *Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling Scott Tadlock at 919-817-7306.*

Qualified Applicants Must…

Be at least 18 years of age

Have a High School Diploma

Have a valid driver’s license for at least six months

Have three work references
