Sampson Regional Medical Center (SampsonRMC) has announced the addition of Ashlee Hornick, PA-C, to their team at Sampson Orthopedic Group. Hornick will partner with Dr. Mark Moriarty to provide comprehensive care for orthopedic conditions in the community.

With six years of experience, Hornick is a certified expert by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, holding a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lake Erie College, Ohio. As a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, she is dedicated to helping patients improve their mobility and return to their preferred activities.

Hornick has trained in orthopedics at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, which inspired her career path. She stated, “What drew me to orthopedics was seeing how patients could go from limited mobility to pain-free activity. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.” Her focus includes treating conditions like osteoarthritis and sports injuries with a patient-involved approach.

Lynn Alexander, Practice Director for Sampson Regional Professional Services, expressed enthusiasm about Hornick's arrival. “We’re excited to welcome Ashlee to the team,” Alexander declared. “Her clinical skills and patient-first approach are a natural fit for the orthopedic team. Ashlee’s addition not only enhances our ability to serve patients more efficiently, but also supports our continued growth in meeting the orthopedic needs of our rural community.”

Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Hornick is keen to work in the rural location, aiming to form long-term patient relationships.

Sampson Orthopedic Group, operational since Fall 2024, offers various treatments to adults and children. Services include joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, fracture care, sports medicine treatments, and management of arthritis and degenerative conditions.
